A 15 member delegation of CFGD visited Haridwar to lend support to Prof. GD Agarwal, who is on a fast unto death to protest against the construction of Loharinag Pala Dam. This dam is just about 150 kms from Gangorti Glacier and will have a strong damaging effect on Ganga. Prof. Agarwal is currently on fast at Matr Sadan, Haridwar and Sunday was the sixth day of his fast. Our members were very worried about his health and wanted him to have a long life so that he can lead everyone in the effort to save Ganga. Lending support to efforts to save Ganga
