GBM of CFGD was held in Gandhi Park, on 10th April 2011 under a shady tree. Activities held since the last meeting and future plans were discussed.
Plans for the World Environment Day on 5th June were also discussed. An Appreciation Certificate was given to Mr. Prem Pratap Singh, journalist in Amar Ujjala, for his outstanding work in exposing the corruption and misadministration in the Forest Department of Uttarakhand. The certificate was given by Ms Usha Goel. A member of Dehra Dun Nagar Nigam also attended the meeting to interact with the members to discuss the way things can be improved in Doon. |
