In our bid to increase the pressure on Uttarakhand Govt. to reform the Forest Department we met Mr.ML Khan, Secretary Forest, in the Uttarakhand Government. Read the letter we gave him here. He gave a very patient hearing and seemed to agree with what we said. It has been our experience over the last few months, that whichever offical we meet, we find them very understanding & sympathetic, but nothing concrete gets done. Lets hope this one is different.
