A conference was orgainzed by CFGD in association with Ganga Ahwaan, an Uttarakashi based association fighting to save the Ganga, in DAV Hall, which was attended by numerous villagers from Dam affected villages. Prominent among the participants were Prof. GD Agarwal.

A beautiful play was staged by volunteers of CFGD on Ganga which was appreciated by the audience. A number of ways were agreed onto by participants on ways of carrying forwards the struggle of saving Ganga.
